1. About OkayWrite

OkayWrite is a web-based script-writing platform that helps users create content for platforms such as Instagram, LinkedIn, Newsletters, and YouTube in their own voice and style, based on inputs they provide. OkayWrite is owned and operated by TownScholar, a company registered in India.

2. Eligibility

You must be 13 years or older to use OkayWrite. If you are under 18, you must use the service under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

We rely on Google authentication for age verification. By using the app, you confirm that you have the legal capacity to enter into these terms. Parents/guardians are responsible for supervising minors’ use.

3. Account Creation

Users must sign up using Google authentication. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You agree to provide accurate and truthful information. Please notify us immediately of any unauthorized use at support@okaywrite.com.

4. User Data & Inputs

When using OkayWrite, you may provide:

• Name and email address (provided via Google login)
• Social media handles
• Writing samples, personal stories, or content preferences

These inputs are used solely to generate personalized scripts and improve your experience. Your inputs are not shared with third parties and may be used to improve our internal models.

5. Content Ownership

You fully own all scripts generated using OkayWrite. You are free to use the content for personal or commercial purposes without restriction or royalty obligations.

6. Content Disclaimer

Content generated by OkayWrite may be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated, including factual errors in AI-generated scripts.

7. No Performance Guarantee

OkayWrite helps you write better, but we do not guarantee views, engagement, reach, followers, or virality. Content performance depends on multiple external factors beyond our control.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use OkayWrite for unlawful, harmful, or misleading purposes, such as generating spam, hate speech, or deceptive content that violates platform policies (e.g., Instagram or YouTube community standards).
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, scrape, or misuse the platform.
• Upload content that violates intellectual property rights or applicable laws.

9. Account Suspension & Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms or misuse the platform.

10. Subscription & Payments

OkayWrite operates on a subscription-based model. The first 3 scripts generated per account are free. After that, a paid subscription is required to continue.

Subscriptions auto-renew monthly via Razorpay unless cancelled. All payment transactions are processed securely by Razorpay. Please see our Refund Policy for details.

11. Refund Policy

All payments are generally non-refundable. Refunds are not provided for subscription fees, partial usage, unused periods, or accidental purchases.

Exceptions may be made in cases of service failure (e.g., app inaccessible for >24 hours) or where required by applicable law. Refund requests must be submitted within 48 hours of payment via support@okaywrite.com with your transaction ID.

12. Service Availability

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time. We aim for 99% uptime but provide no guarantees. We are not liable for temporary downtime, maintenance interruptions, or technical issues.

13. Limitation of Liability

OkayWrite is provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis. We are not responsible for losses resulting from reliance on generated content. Our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

14. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts of Chennai, Tamil Nadu, shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes.

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time, with notice via email or in-app. Continued use of the platform after modifications means you accept the revised terms.
