1. About OkayWrite

OkayWrite is a web-based script-writing platform that helps users create content for platforms such as Instagram, LinkedIn, Newsletters, and YouTube in their own voice and style, based on inputs they provide. OkayWrite is owned and operated by TownScholar, a company registered in India.

2. Eligibility

You must be 13 years or older to use OkayWrite. If you are under 18, you must use the service under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian. We rely on Google authentication for age verification. By using the app, you confirm that you have the legal capacity to enter into these terms. Parents/guardians are responsible for supervising minors' use.

3. Account Creation

Users must sign up using Google authentication. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and all activity under it. You agree to provide accurate and truthful information. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use at admin@townscholar.com

4. User Data & Inputs

When using OkayWrite, you may provide:

• Name and email address (via Google login)
• Social media handles
• Writing samples, personal stories, or content preferences

These inputs are used solely to generate personalized scripts and improve your experience. Inputs are not shared with third parties and may be used to improve our models.

5. Content Ownership

You fully own all scripts generated using OkayWrite. You may use the content for personal or commercial purposes without restriction.

6. Content Disclaimer

Content generated by OkayWrite may be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated, including factual errors in AI-generated scripts. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, verifying, and fact-checking content before publishing or using it. Generated content is provided for creative and informational purposes only and does not constitute legal, medical, financial, or professional advice.

7. No Performance Guarantee

OkayWrite helps you write better. We do not guarantee views, engagement, reach, followers, or virality. Content performance depends on multiple external factors beyond our control.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use OkayWrite for unlawful, harmful, or misleading purposes (e.g., generating spam, hate speech, or deceptive content that violates platform policies like those of Instagram or YouTube)
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, scrape, or misuse the platform
• Upload content that violates intellectual property rights or applicable laws

9. Account Suspension & Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms or misuse the platform.

10. Subscription & Payments

OkayWrite operates on a subscription-based model. Access to our premium tools and features requires a paid subscription, with pricing based on the specific plan you choose at checkout. All payments are processed securely via authorized payment gateway partners, and we do not store your sensitive payment details. Depending on your selection, subscriptions may auto-renew at the end of the billing cycle unless cancelled. Please refer to our Refund Policy for details on billing and cancellations

11. Refund Policy

All payments are generally non-refundable. Exceptions for duplicate payments or service failures are considered if the request is submitted within 48 hours of the transaction. For detailed information on cancellations, eligibility, and processing timelines, please refer to our dedicated Refund Policy page, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

12. Service Availability

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time. We aim for 99% uptime but provide no guarantees. We are not liable for temporary downtime, maintenance interruptions, or technical issues.

13. Limitation of Liability

OkayWrite is provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis. We are not responsible for losses resulting from reliance on generated content. Our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

14. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts of Chennai, Tamil Nadu, shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes.

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time, with notice via email or in-app. Continued use means you accept the revised terms.
